Dude, it is guild wars... not COD2... you don't need a gefore 8000 series.

A mid ranged 7000 series will be great for your system. The GeForce 7300GT is selling on Tigerdirect for 30$ after rebate. You won't need to upgrade your PSU if you get it.

If 250W are enough depends on the quality of the PSU, not the pure power-number.
I would prefer a high-quality, more expensive PSU with 300W over any 500W-noname unit all the time.

+1. Initial cost and total cost of ownership are two different things, especially with power supplies. I've seen friends dump $1400 into a box and toss in a $20 power supply, only to ask me why I think there's smoke coming out of the computer. Computers run on magic smoke - buying better parts gives you better seals to keep the smoke in there longer.

btw: I recommend Antec. A 350W power supply from them should be about $50 or so. Don't go modular on the cabling unless you have a dire need to.

Make you a deal. I have a 620 watt PSU sitting in my closet. It runs beautifully. You can have it if you pay the shipping costs. Deal? It is full EPS, dual 12v rails, just didn't cut the mustard for my setup.

Oh, and as for Video card, I would recommend this:

BTW, the PSU I have has modular cabling, and is top quality. It's an Eagle/Sky Hawk.

If the case is smaller, a power supply with modular cabling could make the top drive bay unusable if it is too long. That's really the only thing, though. Otherwise a quality power supply is a quality power supply.

My friend runs a 8600GT, AMD Athlon 64x2 5200+, 2gb ram, 2 fans and an LED light thing with a 400W psu if that helps you.. Not sure about the motherboard.

EDIT: 2 DVD drives and 1 HDD.
